The initiative is a collaboration between the Jakarta Lab and the <a href=\"http:\/\/transformasi.or.id\/\">TRANSFORMASI<\/a> project of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giz.de\/en\/worldwide\/26196.html\">Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr International Zusammenarbeit<\/a> (GIZ).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the project wrap-up, we\u2019re now in the process of documenting our experiences to share with the public. We\u2019re starting with the publication of two how-to guides, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/labs.webfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/HtG_Banyuwangi_Fostering.pdf\">Fostering Government and Civil Society Collaboration through Open Data<\/a>\u201d, wherein we suggest specific steps that can be taken to promote collaboration between government and civil society organisations through the use of open data. This approach is particularly helpful in a context where there is a need to build trust and collaboration between government and CSOs and work together to achieve common goals.
